Inspiration Page
The central question we’re asking is: What is your experience being part of a neurodiverse family?
You can answer this in any way you like. Feeling immediately inspired? You can get started straight away!
If you’re feeling stuck, use this guide to find a spark. Remember: we aren't looking for "perfect" art—we are looking for your perspective.
Pick a prompt:
You don’t have to answer all of these. Just pick one that resonates with you. Or come up with your own idea!
-
Your Journey: What has been important to you as you’ve grown up? What do you wish you had known when you were younger?
-
Navigating the World: What is it like to move through the world? What are the obstacles, and what has helped you (a person, a hobby, a piece of advice)? Do you experience things differently from other people?
-
Family Life: What is your family like? Are you all similar or very different? As a parent or sibling, how do you see your child or sibling’s journey?
-
Highs & Lows: What are you most proud of? What has been tricky or challenging? What affects your mental health right now?
-
A Message: What do you wish people knew about neurodiversity, autism, or ADHD?
-
You: What makes you YOU?
Pick your materials
Use whatever feels natural. If you already have something—a photo, a social media post, or a song—you can submit that too!

You can also provide us with a description of your work. Maybe you want to tell us bit more about why a photo is important, what a music piece or art represents. You can also ask help from a parent to write something alongside your art.
